Patient Impact:
“During my residency in New York, I gave one of my patients implant overdentures to stabilize her loose complete dentures. Two weeks later she returned with 2 dozen doughnuts for the office. She was extremely happy with the results and was in tears. She never thought in all her life she would be able to eat doughnuts or any of her favorite foods like steak or corn-on-the-cob. Every time she came back for her dental checkups, she thanked me for how much I improved her quality of life now that she is able to eat her favorite types of food without having problems with her dentures.”
